A person should not be seized by federal agents without cause or warning. That person should not be moved to a foreign prison without due process. Torture is wrong, but the torture of an innocent is an abomination.


Writing from El Salvador in 1977, Saint Oscar Romero said, “We suffer with those who have disappeared, those who have had to flee their homes, and those who have been tortured.”
